任何有效的讯息与通讯都会接收到反馈feedback（暂且不考虑反馈强度大小）
若这个反馈是有效的，并且能够换位成为触发新反馈的初始条件
那这样的回路就是一种封闭回路

一间5m×2.8m的小房间
内部被完全清空，窗户封死并衬上白板
房间中间摆放房间自身的模型(1: 20)
模型内部有一个网络摄像头
透过模型的窗户捕捉外部影像
实时处理后，投影到现实中的窗户上

» Installation «
The site is a 5m×2.8m room,
with a pair of narrow windows on one of the walls,
two doors stand face to face on the others walls.
The room is completely empty.
The windows are blocked,
lined with white boards to be transformed into a screen.
In the middle of the room stands a model,
which is exactly the room itself (1: 20 scale).
A webcam is set inside the model
to capture outer images through the window of the model.
In realtime,
those images are projected proportionally
onto the real window.

Following a tradition of closed-circuit art
that examines the (im-) possibility of observing oneself,
the entire installation is kind of a close system.
Participants become elements of the system.
The actions of participants are captured by the camera,
start the loop,
and as a result became the image on window ,
which are the actions themselves.

summaery期间在M9展出了3天。Katta, Stefan, Katia和我轮流值班，轮到我的时间段，大部分时候我都会坐在柜子旁边的阴影里观察前来参观的人们。有趣的事情是，如果参观者是一个人来的话，基本上他只会朝模型扫一眼，瞄一瞄投影机打出的光，带着狐疑或者是漠视的态度径直穿过房间，什么都发觉不了。但是呢，如果是多人一同进入房间的话，因为会在嬉笑打闹间看到同伴投影在窗户上的图像，反而能很快get到idea。
我觉得这一点特别好玩。整个装置原本是为了单个人而设计的。“观看”的同时也在“被观看”，多少会有点慎独的意味在里头。如果把“观看”watch置换成其它词语，比如“观察”observe，甚至“监视”monitor，其含义立刻就冷峻了起来。单独而无知无觉的状态特别适合套用在“监视”的含义中：你并不知道这是一个监视的情景；你也不知道你在被监视；你更不知道你在监视什么，同时在被什么监视，而这一切的触发者和承受者都是你自己。

I found an interesting phenomenon while observing visitors during the exhibithion time. People mostly behave as they discover nothing when they come along. However, when visitors come as a group, they can easily get the idea by looking at others' images (which are projected onto the window).
The installation is designed for single person. People getting watched while he is watching. If replace the word ‘watch’ into other words such as ‘observe’ or ‘monitor’, the meaning could become ruminated. The state of being alone and unconscious suits exactly for the meaning of ’monitor‘: you have no idea that it is a scene of watching; you have no idea of being watched; you have no idea of what you are watching, while by what you are being watched. And you yourself are the trigger and receiver of everything.
